A gasket is supplied within a cap mould for sealing a container, especially to get a container to be utilized for liquids including liquid fuels to avoid leakage thereof. In general, the gasket is made of a rubber material. The rubber material expands or shrinks as a result of an effect in the fuel within the container. Consequently, the gasket often falls off from the cap when the cap is opened. If the cap is closed once again without the gasket, it causes the leakage of the fuel.

The inventors in the present invention realized that the cause for requiring the separate machining method or the complicated mould is as a result of the reality that the undercut for securing the gasket is extending inside a direction perpendicular to a course of getting rid of the mould. Consequently, inside the present invention, the undercut is created by forming a vertical hole in the best wall in the cap mould which extends inside the very same path as that of getting rid of the mold or ejecting the moulded cap. The mould for forming the outer shape from the cap is provided having a plurality of protrusions, each getting a complementary shape using the vertical hole. The protrusion extends straight in the very same direction as that of getting rid of the mould or ejecting the moulded cap. Consequently, the present invention enables to eliminate the cap to be removed from the mould by basically translating the mould in a straight movement or by ejecting the moulded cap.

The cap mould based on the present invention may be integrally formed with a straightforward mould offered using a plurality of protrusions on the mould for forming an outer shape with the cap. Every protrusion is formed within a complementary shape with all the shape of the vertical hole. Given that the protrusion extends straight within a vertical course, the cap having an undercut could be removed from the mould by merely translating the mould straight within the vertical course or ejecting the moulded cap within the vertical path.

When the gasket is mounted on the moulded cap, the ears thereof are supported on the shelves formed in the skirt near the boundary region between the top rated wall and the skirt of the cap. The ears are held on the shelves by the self-sustaining shape with the gasket or friction among the surfaces of the ears along with the shelves, whereby falling of the gasket is prevented. Further, because the ears may be observed by way of the vertical holes from outside, the presence with the gasket and regardless of whether the spout is sealed or not can be checked by looking into the vertical holes with no actually getting rid of the cap mould from the spout.
